FP McCann’s Clarke’s Quarry in Lisnaskea supplied a range of concrete products, stone and surfacing materials to Oaklee Developments for a new social housing project on behalf of Monaghan County Council.

FP McCann supplied products from the foundations being laid, right through to the final surfacing of individual driveways and surrounding access roads on the development, located in Liseggerton, Clones.

Ready Mix Concrete was supplied for the foundations and sub-floors. Concrete blocks, brick and soap bars were used in building the main structure of the houses, with concrete road kerbs and garden edging kerbs being added to boundaries and footpaths. Our precast concrete fencing products – slotted posts and gravel boards – were used to house timber fence panels surrounding houses in the development.

In addition to this, FP McCann also undertook the surfacing work for Adston Ltd. Firstly, the entire site was levelled with stone. SMA (Stone Mastic Asphalt) was then supplied and laid for the 19 individual driveways and the footpaths within the development.

For the main roadway, FP McCann supplied and laid base Bitmac, followed by Hot Rolled Asphalt with decorative red chips added upon request by the client.

Commenting on the project, Cormac Brides from Adston Ltd. said: “FP McCann supplied a variety of high-quality products for this project on time and to specification, as well as carrying out the surfacing work on the development to an excellent standard.”
