Yes, we offer an ex works service; however, you will need to place the order before hand and arrange a date to collect.
The normal office hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However, products can be collected from any FP McCann depot from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The Knockloughrim depot is also open from 8am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

There is no minimum order quantity for collections. However, as prices for delivered products are based on full lorry loads, part loads can incur a surcharge and will be delivered with other scheduled deliveries which could affect the delivery date. Customers can either collect small quantities directly from FP McCann or from their nearest FP McCann stockist.

Yes – FP McCann uses a combination of own account and subcontracted delivery vehicles. This gives FP McCann the flexibility to meet a variety of restrictions and requirements for on-site deliveries. i.e. rigid vehicle deliveries, FORS compliant, CLOCS etc.
Hauliers can be given an approximate delivery period for am or pm delivery but only in certain circumstances, so please call our sales team to discuss.
Split deliveries are available for an additional charge. Please call our sales team to discuss.
We can offer edge protection dependent upon the products required. The edge protection offered is a variation of a post and strap system. This is not a safety system but a way of assisting the unloading team to comply with working at heights regulations. There are also methods of unloading available to avoid working at height.

A mechanical Pipe Lifter can be fitted to your excavator and is a quick and safe way of lifting and laying pipes. This system is suitable for pipes from DN300 TO DN1200. Yes, single use slings, lifting chains and eye bolts can be supplied for safer product handling. For further information on lifting equipment, please visit page 55 of the Drainage brochure. Correct chains should be sourced by the contractor.

The number of products per load depends on the size of each product. Please refer to page six of our drainage brochure for information on approximate number of pipes per load and page 19 for the appropriate number of manhole chambers per load.

Yes, as standard they are designed as water retaining to Water Tightness Class 1 (Table 7.105 of BS EN 1992-3). We can design to other classes on request.
We generally design to suit production, transport & installation efficiencies which often means larger, heavier units. However, site may often have restricted access & limited lifting capacity. When this is the case we can re-design to these parameters reducing unit size & weight accordingly.
Although we have standard designs for our tanks & chambers every job is bespoke in some way so every new order has to be designed & produced. Therefore, lead times generally start from 4 weeks from approval for smaller jobs moving upwards as jobs become larger.
We deliver as standard on flat bed artics, rigid & hyab are available on request, rates advised on application.

Unfortunately as each site has different ground conditions we have no standard foundation details, the foundation will need to be designed by a structural engineer.

It depends on the diameter. Approximately 2 weeks for a small bed at 20m diameter to 6 weeks for a bed diameter of 45m.

FP McCann Box Culverts are primarily a bespoke designed product based on the following parameters:
- Internal span & internal height
- Surface loading & fill depth over the Box Culvert
- Exposure & cover requirements
All of the above is used to ascertain cover to reinforcement, reinforcement content etc. which in turn allows for the external geometry of the Box Culvert unit to be established.
FP McCann’s Box Culverts would be offered as struck from a steel mould, generally referred to as an F2 finish.
It is the contractor’s responsibility to offload / install our Box Culverts.
