General Conditions

G1. We acknowlegde receipt of order and agree to supply the goods to you under the FP McCann Limited Conditions of Sale/ Conditions of Sale (with Technical Assistance) as applicable. G2. Where your order has been put forward on terms inconsistent with our standard terms then this Order Acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of the same but rather an offer to sell goods to you on the FP McCann Limited Conditions of Sale / Conditions of Sale (with Technical Assistance) as applicable, the acceptance of delivery of which will constitute your acceptance. G3. Unless indicated otherwise in this Order Acknowledgment, and notwithstanding any inconsistency with any specifications included with your order, the goods listed herein will be supplied to the FP McCann Limited standard specifications, including where applicable relevant British Standards or Eurocodes, as detailed on our website and/or noted on the associated product drawing(s). G4. The Total Order Value is based on the quantities anticipated at the time of order acknowledgement. Where the materials are to be delivered in bulk, the amount payable will be calculated applying the prices shown herein to the actual quantities delivered. G5. Unless indicated otherwise, the Total Order Value is shown exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate when our invoice is raised. G6.  Requirement to unload without undue delay: the rates quoted and/or included herein are based on the assumption that all goods offered for delivery to site will be unloaded from the Company’s delivery vehicle(s) and it/they will be released to continue its/their journey within one hour of arrival at the delivery site. If the Company’s delivery vehicle(s) is/are held or delayed on site beyond a period of one hour, a charge of £50 per vehicle per hour of delay or part thereof will be applied. The signature of the Customer’s representative on any delivery note will indicate the Customer’s confirmation of any times recorded thereon, and his acceptance of their use in calculation of the additional charges to be levied by the Company for the Customer’s failure to unload without undue delay. G7. For part loads of standard Precast Concrete Products, we will aim to deliver within 5 working days.

“a” denotes goods to which the FP McCann Limited Conditions of Sale apply. “b” denotes goods to which the FP McCann Limited Conditions of Sale (with Technical Assistance) apply. “tc1” denotes goods to which the following apply: Design: Unless indicated otherwise on the unit drawings, the units listed here in have been designed to withstand a cover slab loading of 30HB with a maximum cover depth of 600mm earthfill. Concrete: Our mix meets Design Chemical Class 4 (DC4) to Special Digest 1 Table F2. Exposure: Unless indicated otherwise on the unit drawings, concrete cover to reinforcement meets exposure classes XC3/4, XD1, XF4. Lifting: All units are fitted with proprietary lifting anchors. The lifting device (e.g. clutch, loop) is not supplied by FP McCann. Details of where these devices can be hired or purchased are shown on the unit drawings.
