FP McCann concrete has played a key role in the ongoing multi-million pound improvement programme at Preston North End Football Club’s Deepdale stadium.

Over a seven-week period, FP McCann supplied 809 terracing units, including stairs weighing an average of 2.1 tonnes each, for use in the construction of 39 rows in the Nationwide League Division One team’s Alan Kelly Town End stand, which has a seating capacity for over 6,000 spectators.

The stand is the latest in a series of improvements at the club where the intention is to create a 30,000 all-seater arena.

The project, which was managed by the Construction Partnership UK, is one of a number of Stadia contracts that FP McCann is currently involved with. These include Premier League grounds at West Ham United FC and Charlton Athletic FC, and a number of Cinemas Terracing projects, including the Rotunda in Reading and 30 Cinema complex at Star City Birmingham.
