Client: Ards and North Down Borough Council

The objective of the works were to enhance the character of this conservation area, increase the number of people coming into the town and make the town more accessible to all users.

Works included:

• Resurfacing areas with natural stone paving and kerbing
• New storm drainage
• Utilities- under-grounding overhead services, diversion and protection of existing etc
• Street furniture including cycle stands, bins, bollards, etc
• Carriageway resurfacing and lining

• Soft landscaping- the planting of semi-mature trees
• New signage
• Installation of new street lighting including ducting and pillars
• Accommodation works
• Soft landscaping
