FP McCann are currently working on the expansion of Victoria Terminal 1 in Belfast Harbour for Belfast Harbour Commissioners . To date we have completed demolition works on Dargan Road and Herdsman Channel Road, before installing drainage throughout the site, including FP McCann’s precast manholes and Easi-Base™ system. Currently we continue with cut and fill, drainage channel installation, laying of a CBM subbase between the precast concrete drainage channels, with machine-laid block paving being installed on top to create a new trailer park. Works on the fencing is about to commence with High Mast lighting and new access and egress points to follow.
Progress Report: 10/07/2024
Machine-laid paving and civil work continues at VT1 Expansion site. This includes kerbing at one of the new entrances and the commencement of installation of permanent fencing around the site.
Progress Report: 19/08/2024
August site works update on the VT1 Expansion site in Belfast Harbour. Works on the laying of the CBM and the machine laid paving are in the final phase. Works continue on the final exit from the site, pulling cabling through the ducts for the lighting, and installing the permanent fencing around the site.
Progress Report: 05/09/2024
September site works update on the VT1 Expansion site in Belfast Harbour. Security fencing erection, surfacing at the entrance and formation of the tabletop continues, with marking up just commenced in preparation for the white lining marking of the parking spaces. CCTV of all the main drainage lines has been completed with jetting of the drainage channels substantially complete.
