FP McCann Introduces Innovative Easibase™ Labelling for Enhanced Manhole Chamber Assembly

FP McCann, a leading manufacturer of precast concrete solutions, has unveiled a new, innovative Easibase™ labelling system designed to simplify the assembly of manhole chambers.

The updated labelling provides accurate, straightforward instructions detailing exactly how each manhole chamber should be constructed from its parts, significantly streamlining the installation process for contractors and engineers.

The Easibase™ labelling system clearly defines each element required for standard 1200mm, 1500mm, and 1800mm diameter manhole chambers, including the Base Unit, Seating Rings, Cover Slabs, and various height adjustment rings, such as 1000mm, 750mm, and 500mm, as well as optional sizes where required. The labels specify the exact number of each component needed, ensuring that contractors can quickly and accurately assemble the chamber on-site, reducing the likelihood of errors and costly reworks.

The new system example shown is FP McCann’s Easibase™ Manhole ref S4, which identifies the assembly requirements as one 1500mm easibase™ unit, three 1000mm rings, one number 750mm ring, one number 500mm ring, and a D400 standard cover slab with a 675 mm x 675 mm opening and two Seating Rings.

The new labelling will benefit contractors by improving clarity and efficiency on-site, reducing installation times, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. It will also assist merchants in providing precise product offerings, facilitating smoother transactions and enhancing project planning.

FP McCann’s commitment to innovation and customer convenience has been central to the development of this labelling system. According to FP McCann, the Easibase™ labels reflect a strategic initiative to simplify workflows and boost accuracy, ultimately contributing to safer, faster, and more cost-effective infrastructure projects.
