FP McCann’s Concrete & Stone Used in The Construction of Two New Hen Houses in Garvagh

FP McCann has supplied a large quantity of materials to Ballygarvey Eggs for the build of two new hen houses in Garvagh.

The site of the new hen houses is just five minutes from our Bradley’s Depot. In total, the quarry supplied 5000 tonne of stone for the groundwork and over 800m³ of Ready Mix Concrete for foundations, flooring and access routes.

Altarichard Concrete Solutions Ltd was the main contractor for this project, with digger work carried out by Andrew Kennedy.

Ballygarvey Eggs have been producing eggs since 1972; this site is an expansion of their operation in Ballymena and will be able to accommodate 32,000 hens.

The project commenced in summer 2023 and was completed in December 2023.
