FP McCann’s brushed concrete and Concrete Exposed were used to transform the outdoor space of this residential property in Dungiven.

DMC Decorative Concrete carried out the renovation work on the home.

The existing slabs were removed from the front of the property and replaced with FP McCann’s Concrete Exposed in Forest Flint, the existing tarmac was reshaped to allow for a more natural curve to the completed pathway, and the front step was also replaced.

The paving at the side of the house and the stone border, as well as the decking area to the rear were replaced with a brushed concrete surface.

Both Concrete Exposed and brushed concrete have many benefits vs traditional paving. There are minimal joints so no issues with weeds or moss, both options also have the strength and durability of ready mix concrete while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing finished look.

FP McCann’s Concrete Exposed is available in Forest Flint (featured), Pink Pebble, Monochrome and Lite Gold. A pigmented dye can also be added to our Ready Mix Concrete to give a coloured finish – this can have a brushed finish or be stamped with an imprinting template to give a slab-effect result.
