FP McCann’s Cemfloor Liquid Screed Used in New Offices at Hutchinsons Feeds

FP McCann supplied a range of products to Reid Engineering, who are completing new offices and a mill at Hutchinsons Feeds in Cookstown.
Precast drainage products, aggregates, ready mix concrete, concrete blocks and wall panels were supplied by FP McCann for this ongoing project, with Cemfloor liquid screed being utilised to great effect in the new office block.
The liquid screed was pumped into place with minimal effort. It offers excellent drying times as well as a strong, hard finish. One of the main benefits of Cemfloor over standard floor screeds, is its effectiveness when used with underfloor heating, as was the case in this project.
Liquid screed fully encapsulates the heating pipes without voids and only needs to cover the pipes by 25mm, resulting in a much more responsive heating system which in turn is more economical to run. As our liquid screed is cement based, there is also no hassle with using standard tile adhesives when adding the desired flooring finish.
