FP McCann Supplies Ready Mix Concrete to KDM Hire in Cookstown

A total of 150 loads of ready mix concrete were supplied to contractor Reid Engineering for a new industrial unit at KDM Hire, Kilcronagh Industrial Estate, Cookstown.
FP McCann supplied concrete throughout the project, including Lean Mix, which has a lower concentration of cement. This is used underneath the foundations to prevent the foundations coming into direct contact with the soil below. Pump mix was used for the finished floor, as well as standard concrete for the external yard slabs. Prestressed concrete wall panels were also supplied for the main frame, which allowed the building to be constructed quickly.

The main contractor for this project was Reid Engineering, with Corey Concrete Flooring carrying out the laying of the concrete. This project is currently ongoing, with completion expected in autumn 2022.
