Moira Park and Ride
This project is part of Translink’s “Better Connected” strategy, which aims to promote sustainable travel and improve public transport accessibility across Northern Ireland.
The Moira site is considered one of Translink’s most important Park and Ride locations due to its position on the busy key southern rail corridor.
The project is the main construction works associated with a new 480 space park and ride facility on a greenfield site to the north of Moira Train Station and supplementary works to the entrance of the existing facility.
The project commenced in July 2025 and is due to be completed in Summer 2026, enabling more people to enjoy the convenience of rail travel and supporting better regional connectivity and reliable alternatives to car-only journeys.
