Title: Inner Walled City Public Realm
Client: Department for Communities
Location: Within the Historic City Conservation Area of Derry/Londonderry.

- Union Hall Place
- Magazine Street
- Upper Magazine Street
- Society Street and
- Palace Street
Description: The project is for the provision of new public footways, carriageways, open spaces, street lighting and furniture.
The overall scheme is Circa 7010m² and comprises of footways and carriageways made up of variant pavement quality which includes for urban regeneration. The proposals are intended to regenerate the streetscape with new high quality stone surfacing, new kerb alignment to improve the streets for pedestrians, new lighting and public art. The scheme will be delivered by a Develop and Construct approach including design development. It is anticipated that these works will improve the appearance of the area, improve access for pedestrians, increase safety and encourage economic investment.
The scheme will compliment previous works completed by FP McCann on Derry/Londonderry Public Realm at Shipquay Place, Guildhall Street, Custom House Street, Waterloo Place, William Street, Strand Road, and Waterloo Street.
