Title: Proposed Improvements to Portrush Recreational Grounds

Location: Portrush Recreational Grounds, Ramore Avenue

Client: Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council with the support of Department for Communities and the UK Government Levelling Up Fund

Description: The Contract is for the provision of proposed improvements to recreational grounds including a multi-use recreational area, new pavilion building, improvements to play areas, leisure areas and other associated spaces and features within a coastal town in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). Works will include:

  • Demolition of existing pavilion building
  • Excavation and disposal of all materials arising from the existing recreation grounds surfaces and demolitions of existing pavilion building
  • Construction of new pavilion building
  • Paving & kerbing using concrete setts and exposed concrete finish products
  • Provision and installation of street furniture & tree planting
  • Provision of urban plaza
  • Provision of synthetic bowling green
  • Provision of adventure play area
  • Works to existing services (including lighting)
  • New drainage to connect to existing outfalls at coastline
