Magherafelt based Joinery and Construction Company, Streamline Joinery have appointed FP McCann as the supplier of all ready mix concrete for the outside garden area of new The Thirsty Goat Bar, Derry.

FP McCann’s ready mix concrete was pumped, placed and transformed by a process of dyeing and printing the surface to leave a highly attractive finish. This provides a durable low maintenance product, which is easily cleaned and has a minimal amount of joints. All deliveries for both foundation concrete and finished imprinted concrete were completed between 3 AM and 7 AM, this allowed the ready mix concrete to be pumped in with minimal disruption to the local businesses and traffic on this narrow busy street.

For the floor, 35N ready mix concrete with a 10mm stone was used with superplasticer added to increase workability and reduce water consumption. The ready mix concrete was printed and dyed on-site to produce a very aesthetic finish. For the foundations, 25N ready mix concrete was used.

Speaking on behalf of Streamline Joinery, Brendan Duggan commented, “I couldn’t fault FP McCann’s service as they were able to be flexible with all their deliveries which had to be delivered outside of normal working hours.”
