FP McCann completes commercial surfacing works at Breffni Air's new factory in County Cavan.

FP McCann has completed extensive surfacing works for Breffni Air’s new factory in County Cavan, delivering a high-quality finish across the large commercial car park and surrounding external areas.

Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA), together with supporting asphalt materials suited to the different areas of the scheme, was supplied from FP McCann’s Clarke’s Quarry in Lisnaskea. The surfacing package covered the main car park, pedestrian walkways, access routes and the wider area surrounding the facility, creating a durable, consistent surface designed for regular vehicle movements and day-to-day site activity.

Breffni Air Ltd is a European leader in ventilation ductwork solutions, with locations in Ireland, the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands. Its new County Cavan factory required external surfacing that would complement the development while providing practical, reliable access for employees, visitors and commercial traffic.

Patrick Sheanon, Breffni Air Ltd said: “We are very pleased with the surfacing work carried out by the team at FP McCann. The job was carried out professionally and in a timely manner, with excellent customer service from point of order through to completion.”

FP McCann provides a comprehensive range of surfacing solutions for domestic, residential, commercial and infrastructure applications. With materials supplied through its network of regional depots and quarries, including the recently added Fitzpatrick’s Quarry in Newry, the company is well placed to support projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. From material supply through to on-site delivery and laying, FP McCann focuses on quality, coordination and dependable service at every stage.

This project was completed in summer 2026.
