FP McCann have been appointed as the Main Contractor for the Killagan P-Way Railway Compound Upgrade Project

Description: The existing compound is located on the Killagan Road adjacent to Killagan Level Crossing outside Glarryford at the site of the old Killagan Station and Goods Shed which was closed to passengers in 1973.
The project involves the refurbishment of an existing Translink yard with the aim of increasing the yard capacity, improve security, improve safety for vehicles accessing/egressing the site and to provide infrastructure for the future construction of a rail maintenance vehicle access point.
The proposed works comprise of:
- Site clearance, including de-vegetation, and removal of redundant items,
- Reprofiling of the proposed yard area,
- Establishment of new boundary security fencing and gates,
- Provision and installation of new utility service corridors,
- Supply and installation of new LED lighting, and
- The resurfacing of the yard.
