Client: Mid Ulster District Council
The scheme’s objective was to create a signature project for NI as a recreational space. Works included the construction of an off-road multipurpose trail over 12km. This consisted of upgrading 3kms of existing trails for walkers and 9kms of new build x-country single track trails with technical features.
The scheme was given fantastic reviews since opening. Renowned Single Track Magazine article stated: Technical Trail Features– 113No including the construction of rock causeways, drop-offs, berms, jerms, rollers, switchbacks, bus stops, roots etc.
