Environmental improvement works to Cookstown’s main thoroughfare and adjoining streets. The scheme’s objective is that regeneration will provide a shared space, promote footfall/attract tourists and in turn boost trade/economy in the town.

The works in the town centre will include:

• Upgrading pedestrian areas and pavements with high-quality materials
• Improved lighting provision
• New street furniture

• Signage
• Tree planting
