Design and construction work to fully renew the Permanent Way of the Coleraine to Derry/Londonderry railway line between Coleraine & Castlerock and between Eglinton & Derry/Londonderry.

Works included:

• Renewal of the track and associated infrastructure
• Refurbishment of the Bann Bridge
• Replacement of the Pottagh Bridge
• New buried cable duct route
• New signalling cables
• Replacement and upgrade of culverts

• Construction of a new access lane at Donnybrewer
• Upgrade of the user and level crossing
• Construction of ballast retention barriers
• Track drainage works
• Cess walkways
