Client: Ards & North Down Borough Council

Regeneration works to Bangor’s main thoroughfare and adjoining streets. The objective of the works was to enhance the identity and character of the town drawing on it’s maritime and built heritage.

Works included:

Resurfacing areas with natural stone paving and kerbing
New storm drainage
Utilities – under-grounding overhead services, diversion and protection of existing etc
Carriageway resurfacing and lining
New signage

Installation of new street lighting with banner features
New controlled pedestrian crossings
Street furniture including cycle stands, bins, bollards, etc
Soft landscaping – planting of semi-mature trees, hedging and remodelling central islands
