Andersonstown Road – Environmental Improvement Scheme

The project aimed to regenerate the area by improving road frontage, accommodate desire lines to attract trade & maximise footfall. The scheme was on an arterial route for commuter traffic to Belfast City Centre.

Works included:

  • Site clearance of existing street furniture
  • Resurfacing with natural stone Irish Blue limestone paving and granite kerbs
  • Carriageway and car park resurfacing and lining
  • Utilities – Under-grounding overhead services, diversion and protection of existing etc.
  • Feature lighting included – feature stainless steel lighting tubes and lighting columns
