Civil Engineering project at Trooperslane FP McCann Appointed Main Contractor for Park & Ride Facility at Trooperslane, Carrickfergus

The scheme is being brought forward under the first phase of Department for Infrastructure Minister, Nicola Mallon’s Park and Ride programme. The new work on the parking facility is designed to help with passenger demand on the Larne Line.

FP McCann’s involvement with the project includes:

  • Site clearance, including the removal of trees, hedgerows and vegetation
  • Service Diversions, including utility company accommodation works
  • Public road widening for a new right turn lane
  • Upgrades to the public footpath
  • Drainage and watercourse culverting installations
