FP McCann Roofing Golf Day Delivers a Day with a Difference at The Belfry

FP McCann Roofing welcomed customers, colleagues, partners and friends to The Belfry for The Grandiose – a golf day designed to go beyond the ordinary and reflect the value FP McCann places on its customer relationships.

FP McCann Roofing was delighted to host its recent Roofing Golf Day – The Grandiose at The Belfry, bringing together customers, colleagues, industry partners and friends for a memorable day of golf, hospitality and conversation.

Designed as a golf day with a difference, the event set out to offer guests more than a traditional corporate golf outing. From the outset, the ambition was to create an experience that felt distinctive, welcoming and worthwhile; a day that reflected not only FP McCann’s appreciation for its customers, but also the importance the business places on long-standing relationships across the roofing and wider construction sectors.

The event website described the day as “a round that’s beyond ordinary” and “a golf day, but not quite as you know it” – and that spirit was carried through every part of the event. Guests enjoyed classic competition, generous hospitality, prizes worth playing for and several playful twists and surprises out on the course, all set against the impressive backdrop of one of the UK’s most iconic golfing venues.

The day began with a warm welcome at registration, with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee served on arrival before guests headed out for a 12:00 shotgun start. Buggies were provided for all players, helping create a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the round. The format encouraged friendly competition, with team scoring, nearest-the-pin and longest-drive challenges, and prizes for leading individuals and teams.

A vintage-inspired dress code added another point of difference, with guests encouraged to embrace classic golf attire from the game’s golden era. This helped give the day a distinctive character and added to the sense that The Grandiose was created to be memorable from start to finish.

Following golf, guests gathered for post-round drinks in the clubhouse before dinner and prize-giving in the Warwick Suite. The evening provided a further opportunity to continue conversations, celebrate the day’s winners and recognise the people who helped make the event such a success.

For FP McCann Roofing, the Golf Day was about much more than a round of golf. It was an opportunity to show customers how much they are valued, to spend meaningful time with the people behind the projects, and to create an occasion that felt personal, professional and genuinely enjoyable.

The event also proudly supported Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity, whose work continues to make a real difference to young people and families. FP McCann Roofing was pleased to take the opportunity to help raise awareness of such an important cause while bringing the industry together in a positive, engaging way.
