Construction of a 735 space park & ride facility, incorporating public roads, roundabouts & a terminal building.

Works included:

• Car Park – 735 space park & ride facility with asphalt surface paving & footways
• Roads – 1No 300m & 1No 50m, 7m wide road through the facility and 70m slip road constructed along the Saintfield Road
• New signalised junction on A24 Saintfield Road
• Separate foul/storm drainage systems installed incorporating 2No modular stormwater storage areas & foul pumping station

• Soft landscaping – included:
  • Semi-mature trees – including rabbit control fencing
  • Planting areas – of shrubs, woodland and decorative
  • Topsoiling and grass seeding
• Terminal building –  with feature octagonal-shaped waiting area with a contractor designed glazed curtain walling, reception area, kitchen & toilet facilities
