How to Use FP McCann Postmix
Using FP McCann Postmix couldn’t be simpler. The preblended composition means there’s no need for mechanical mixing or special tools:
Step by Step Instructions:
- Position the post securely in the prepared hole
- Add approximately 2 litres of clean water to the base
- Empty on full bag of FP McCann Postmix into the hole
- Check the posts alignment with a spirit level and adjust as necessary
- Tamp down gently to remove air pockets and ensure even distribution
- Sprinkle additional water to the mix if any dry powder remains
Your post will typically sets in 5-10 minutes depending on ambient conditions
Recommended Use Conditions
- Suitable for all soil types and external use
- Best used between +5°C and +30°C
Storage, Safety and Shelf Life
To maintain quality and safety standards:
- Store unopened bags in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, preferably off the ground on pallets or shelving
- Keep bags sealed to prevent moisture contamination
- When stored correctly, the product retains its declared performance for up to 12 months.
Use of this product after the declared storage period can be hazardous. Prolonged storage beyond 12 months may increase the level of Chromium (VI) and may increase the risk of allergic reaction following direct contact with skin.
