FP McCann have supplied a range of products to the recently opened McDonald’s restaurant in Magherafelt.
Stone, ready mix concrete and surfacing products were supplied to main contractor Marcon Fit-Out for the construction of the new building and facilities in Magherafelt, only a few miles from our head office.
Stone and ready mix was supplied to subcontractors McKee Ltd for the initial groundworks, with Terra Imprints completing the stamped concrete Drive Thru area using our dyed coloured concrete.
Damien McQuaid, Terra Imprints, said: “We have used FP McCann’s dyed concrete on a number of jobs, including other McDonald’s premises and we have always been very pleased with the quality. We stamped this project using ‘London Cobble’, giving a cobble street effect with all the strength and durability of ready mix concrete. We are very pleased with the completed result.”
A total of 1400 tonne of stone and 400m³ of ready mix concrete were supplied, as well as 105m³ of coloured concrete. Surfacing was completed by FP McCann’s own surfacing team, who supplied 1500m² of 10mm SMA and footway asphalt for the job.

From the initial stone and ready mix to the more decorative coloured concrete and the surfacing of the carpark – FP McCann have provided an excellent level of service and premium quality products.”
Work began in July 2024, with the restaurant officially opening in November 2024.
