From 11th to 12th October, FP McCann are once again promoting their structural and architectural precast concrete business at this year’s OffSite event, stand D41 in the Excel, London. In particular, they feature their extensive range of precast modular building solutions and architectural components now available and used on many noted schemes, including hotels, student accommodation and exclusive residential apartment blocks.
The Company has recently expanded its modular building operations following the acquisition of the Laing O’Rourke Bison facility in Uddingston, Scotland, which specialises in ‘grey’ concrete panels and architectural facade panels. All operations are geared to manufacturing off-site precast modular building structures including internal walls, floors and ceilings; all manufactured to a high quality finish.
FP McCann has focussed its most recent expansion on the development and production of specialist architectural facade finishes, offering ‘sandwich panels’ clad either with a brick-faced or acid-etched finish to architects specification. Other architectural precast concrete products complementing the sandwich panels include lintels, columns, soffits and balconies.
Architects and designers are choosing off-site manufactured modular building systems in increasing numbers for the quality of finish, speed of construction and safe on-site installation practices they offer. Design teams at FP McCann work closely with the client and contractor to ensure that precast modular building dimensions and external finishes match the design specifications.
